Custom Suits
Making a custom suit does not mean draping a human body with cloth. It is the skill
of dressing that person exclusively. To address different body proportions
and postures which improve the look of the suit with style and elegance.
A traditional custom tailor suit is made step by step on location. There are
twenty to twenty-five measurements that need to be taken. From those
measurements, a pattern is drawn and then the fabric is cut. After the suit is
made, one or two fittings are needed to complete the work.
A custom suit takes about seventy-five working hours to complete
with eighty-five percent of that work done by hand stitching. This is the
only way to make a true custom suit.
